1. How should these bib shorts fit?
The Women’s Pro Bib Short is an anatomical racing cut designed to fit like a second skin. They are designed to feel slightly tight when standing but perfectly contoured once you are in a forward-leaning riding position. If you see fabric bunching or the chamois (pad) shifting, you may need to size down. While snug, it uses high-stretch Italian fabrics to ensure you don't feel restricted during everyday training or racing.
Featuring a women’s-specific cut, they are a snug yet comfortable fit that moves with your body—delivering a streamlined feel on the bike without restriction.
2. How long can you ride in these bib shorts?
The Pro GT Orange chamois is designed for rides of 1-5 hours, providing padding and support to reduce saddle pressure and friction. For 5+ hours we recommend our Pro Maximus or Elite Bibs for additional protection in the saddle.
3. What makes Italian fabrics better?
Italian performance fabrics are known for their superior compression, breathability and durability, helping riders maintain comfort during long rides.
4. How does the chamois prevent odor and bacteria build up?
Yes. The top layer of the chamois is integrated with carbon thread, a rapid-dry fabric that naturally enhances antibacterial properties and reduces odour buildup.
5. Should I wear underwear with these bibs?
No. Cycling bibs are strictly designed to be worn without underwear. The chamois is engineered to sit directly against your skin to wick moisture and prevent the chafing that occurs when underwear seams rub against your body during repetitive pedaling.
6. Why are bib shorts better than regular cycling shorts?
Bib shorts use shoulder straps to hold the shorts in place, preventing waistband pressure and reducing movement while riding.
7. Are these bibs suitable for racing and endurance rides?
Yes. The compressive fabric, 12mm pro chamois and ergonomic fit make them suitable for both training and racing.
